:flame:I wasn’t expecting another song this year. Damn I wish she did another concert in New York. I fear I’ll never see her live. But glad she still getting her Bag and making music she wants. Icon

I think Danny would suit her better than AG but damn she truly is doing magic with AG.

I mean, look at what Danny has been cooking with Caroline for her two albums, they are very very Utada-ish at moments, that would be an amazing duo.

Yeah, Pang is what obviously turned me on to him but Jonsi's album really sealed the deal for danny. Utada x danny would be on another level :jonny5:

I'm really happy that she has been very VERY active since Fantôme.

And it's really obvious that being a mother and having such an artistic son (just as she was as a little girl with her musician parents) really brings the best of her as a musician.

Hikaru's slow songs always eat.

speak for yourself.

o.t. loving her clean, crisp, non-shaky vocals :clap3:

honestly it's such a great time to be an Utada stan. to see her so active like this.

i don't think Western ATRLers realize the pain of stanning someone who took an 8 year hiatus:rip:

As much as I loved BAD Mode, it wasn't as good as an experience as with her other post hiatus albums. It felt SHORT even though the songs were quite long and had many bonus tracks, but most of the songs were songs that I already heard dozens of times.

Only 4 brand new songs out of 10 tracks:

Bad MODE

Not in the Mood

Find Love

Somewhere Near Marseilles

While Hatsukoi had 6 new songs out of 12

Fantôme had 8 new songs out of 11.

So, yeah, I'm starving Hikki, and I'm glad that you gave been cooking nonstop and that you're so inspired ♥

And you can tell that having her working again with western producers have her super excited too.

I preferring hearing as little as possible of an album before it releases, for sure. Although, I feel used to it tho cause jpop as a whole has always structured itself differently than the west. Lots of single releases before the album, then very few singles (if any) afterwards. The 6 pre-album singles before Ultra Blue were released between 2003 and 2006, which is crazy

The short tracklisting was the worst, but the quality had me shook :jonny4:

Woooo I’m so excited for new Utada music!!!

also just out of curiosity did Utada change their pronouns? I see a lot of people about saying she/her. Just curious if they are mistakes or Utada goes by she/her now

Completely forgot this was coming at all since it was announced so soon with the movie :dies: I hope they’re working extensively with A.G. on their next album, if not the entire album with him.
