I very much prefer the original album cover it was gorgeous and gave 70s this new album cover is giving cottagecore and the music doesn’t fit that vibe at all

Tbh I'm not personally a fan of this. It's a cool fan edit. But it's taking the title too literally, and when it comes to Madison, she always has a deeper meaning behind her titles. 

 

I'm not even sure myself what the meaning behind SBS is yet, I haven't really kept up with her interviews during this era. But I feel like a 50s aesthetic would've been cool.

I know Reckless and Selfish are her "biggest solo songs", but I feel like the public is waiting for something more upbeat  HTAO had so much potential... but of course Epic had to ruin everything as usual

H2AO had so much potential. She has so much potential in general. But she says she's over catering to the mainstream. I never saw her really comment on H2AO & its lack of promo etc. A couple of years ago she would've been vocal about how Epic isn't doing anything. 

 

I get the impression she's just given up with caring for commercial success. I think she'd be happy if it happened, but she doesn't even seem bothered to fight with labels anymore.

I feel she wants to be taken more seriously as an artist this era and she’s building a fanbase that sticks with her long term. I don’t think the Lana interview as promo was incidental. I think she’s taking clues about following her muse with little compromise if it smashes or not. It’s still pop, but her own lane, with her own cute audience

I also feel like she kinda gave up on making it big, which is a shame because just like you said she has a loot of potential  doing features like All Day & Night from time to time would give her some good exposure if she wants to stick to her own sound for her solo music

The cornfield one is what she's deeming as "the cover". But it's predominantly just digital (with the exception of 1 exclusive vinyl so far).

 

The previous one will remain the cover for physical copies.
