I love the scenes with the projector but that's about it :chick3: The MV doesn't work for me with that song, kinda giving Home With You

I really need to give this a listen. I loved Life Support.

What are the standout tracks? I heard Home To Another One and loved that. Reckless was okay, I’m just not a ballad type of girl.

"Sweet Relief" and "17" are pretty good, and make up the "mid-to-uptempo-ish quality trifecta" alongside "Home To Another One".

I also like "Spinnin'" and "Dangerous", but the former is a Lana Del Rey-esque ballad, and the latter could be an Oscar-nominated song for a Disney film.

Album is very mellow in tempo tbh might not really be your speed

Thank you girls! I need new music to listen to so I’m gonna give it a listen.

Even if the album is slow, I can still appreciate midtempos and ballads as long as it isn’t too same-y. I’m a few songs in already and I’m liking it enough to keep going. I’m getting a lot of What Was I Made For? teas from this album and that’s one of my favorite songs this year so I have good expectations :bird:

still obsessed with Envy the Leaves:alexz3:

She occupies a weird place for me, somewhere between mainstream pop singer and left of centre/ indie artist. I get the feeling she wanted to be the former but only got interesting and found success when she explored being the latter.

This music video is pretty bad but it’s giving final music video of the era zero budget. She looks older than everybody in this video also!

Edited: I just realize she’s 24 acting like a teenage in her recent video. Very weird…. This is why she’s not connecting with an audience. One min she is appealing to an older audience with dangerous then the next younger audience with sweet relief…

silence between songs was also my second most played album of the year on my apple music, a masterpiece :clap3:

Do people regard her as a big pop girl?  It’s clearly what she wants. Is the conscious of opinion that she’s in that category yet or that she’s still trying?

Finally listened to this. It's not as much up my alley as Life Support was, but it's definitely a good album nonetheless. Really loved Ryder, Envy the Leaves, At Your Worst and King of Everything. HTAO is still SOTY also :clap3:

I’m baffled how both Home to Another One and Sweet Relief made zero noise. They are very good pop tracks
