poki Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 On this day, 20 years ago, Finding Nemo was officially released. Let's reminisce on the days when Pixar was at the top of the world
poki Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 (edited) They took a 2 year break in between Monsters Inc. And this, which I think helped them a lot. Now they release 2 movies per year which is absolute insanity. Edited May 30, 2023 by PoKiTaurus

poki Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 95 - 09: The gold era 10 - 19: Silver era (too many sequels muddled this decade) 20 - 23: Bronze era Minus a few stand outs in the 10s like Coco and Monsters University of course
Relampago. Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Pixar’s best movie, and my favorite movie of all time. funny, emotional, beautiful, they really did THAT.
Europe Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Arguably the greatest Pixar movie ever made turns 20 years old today. Finding Nemo is the best-selling DVD title of all time, with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006, and was the highest-grossing G-rated film of all time before Pixar's own Toy Story 3 overtook it. In 2008, the American Film Institute named it as the 10th greatest American animated film as part of their 10 Top 10 lists. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 99% of 269 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8.7/10. Lou Lumenick of the New York Post gave the film four out of four, saying "A dazzling, computer-animated fish tale with a funny, touching script and wonderful voice performances that make it an unqualified treat for all ages." Cheers to a true classic film! 1
