What has truly changed the franchise is the introduction of paid DLC and post-launch support, aka today's most consistent source of income outside physical/digital sales. Despite selling millions of copies, T6 and TTT2 didn't get any support and that ended up "hurting" the company in the long run. Same, it's such a different vibe when I actually go out and buy physical copies. Reminds me how excited I'd be to buy a new game when I was little haha. I miss the booklets tho. But no... boring hair swaps and some ported hair from Tekken 7, very lazy. Hardly any unique items. T6 was the best for customization, Each character has so much unique content.
