She’ll pick up a few of Morgan’s fans with this relationship. :gaycat5:

He has such dark teeth :rip:

That was the first thing I noticed too. How can someone want to kiss him with teeth like that!?

OT: Matty reminds me of a 13 year old that never grew out of their edgy phase. I assumed Taylor would talk to Matty in private and tell him to stop with the controversial comments, but remarks like the one in the OP show that he's still steadfast with his toxic, disgusting thinking. It's stupefying that Taylor, a person who has always seemed incredibly obsessed with her PR and reputation, is sticking with him despite his tasteless comments and continuing negative press.

Hard to swallow but Taylor is currently on the same wavelength as Nicki Minaj now :rip:

No. Dating someone who made problematic comments is not the same as marrying a literal convicted murderer and child sexual offender. Not to mention Nicki bullied his victims. Be ******* serious :rip:

Except Nicki enables her husband we have yet to see Taylor do that :bibliahh:

She can do whatever she wants. I mean, she clearly doesn't care anyway.

She already has enough fans, so I don't think she'll worry about losing the few of us who can't abide by her decision.

Stop pretending you care about any of this. Go stream 30 if you're that bored

Typical swiftie deflection.
Adele has nothing to do with this.
:coffee2:
OP: As the saying goes “if you don’t stand for something you fall for anything”

Taylor is in her 30s and her blissful ignorance to justified criticism is getting old.

she wants to be hated again in time for reputation (Taylor's Version) :duca:

OTHs are now more obsessed with Taylor's love life than swifties?! Who could have known?

This relationship is barely a month and has generated more threads about it than her biggest tour itself :coffee2:

Swifties in this thread saying they don't care about Healy's racist views not surprised but still :deadbanana4:

All of this will be interesting when they eventually fall out and they finally go after him

Finally? The fanbase's nickname for him is literally Ratty. We hate this guy so much one even wrote an HuffPost article about it, haven't you heard? :coffee2:

I'm bewildered this man actually had the audacity to double down on that disgusting podcast episode. 'you're a bit mental for being hurt' is easy to say when you're not one of the several minority groups that got mocked, or the black women at the receiving end of the degrading culture a porn platform like Ghetto Gaggers perpetuates. What a pathetic edgelord, and while Taylor obviously shouldn't take accountability for his comments, her publicly dating him reflects very poorly on her as a person, even more so as it contradicts everything she's stood for these past few years.

It doesn't change my love and appreciation for her craft, but I am disappointed at this whole ordeal - a sentiment echoed by many reasonable Swift enthusiasts.

But there's nothing we can do. It's her love life and her choices. She (or at least her PR team) are well aware of all these controversies and the bad look that is platforming and associating with a man like him, but they simply don't care. It is what it is. But I better not see any Swifties acting on a moral high ground anymore when attacking artists for moderate-to-minor controversies. There's no such thing as an 'unproblematic fave', and people need to quit their selective outrage if they're also stanning someone who's made questionable or flat-out ugly choices.

Nobody's saying she can't. She's free to date this trash dude, but as a public figure, people also have the right to comment, criticize, and express their disappointment at her decision, especially if they belong to the minority groups Healy has ridiculed and degraded.

Trust me, defending this relationship isn't a hill you'd want to die on...unless you support Matty Healy and the offensive edgelord crap he says.

It's okay to admit Taylor is wrong here. I know OTHs are using this to fuel their hate circlejerks and make gross unfounded projections about her as a person, but trying to turn this into being her prerogative doesn't help matters... at all.

My uncle works in the country music industry and was around when Taylor first got her start at the Blue Bird Cafe in nashville and it’s a well known secret down there that she’s a bully and an atheist. She’s gonna have more backlash coming in the next few weeks and it’s getting ugly down there he told me. Gonna get worse before it gets better if she even has a chance with redemption. Let’s see if she survives this tour.
