Both singers that are known for their songwriting and vocal deliveries. Adele writes heartfelt breakup songs and Lana writing is more of escapism.

 

both also have had long careers and have a dedicated fan base. 
 

I personally prefer Lana because I love how she is able to create a certain atmosphere with her lyrics and vocal delivery.
