The only thing happening is some ATRL users can't handle a male dominated top 10 so they hate on male artists and their songs

Nah, that ain't it.

From HipHopDX:

Drake and Yachty had the exact same number of streams? Impressive! :jonny:

Females have dominated the charts for the past few years,  there's nothing wrong with the men getting their run. :clown:

Nah, that's a blatant typo on their part.

Yachty did 25,245 SEA + TEA, and rap albums typically do very little TEA (like, 1 or 2k), so he probably did something like 23k SEA which would be 34.5M streams.

I figured.

Drake's numbers are still huge, but Kendricks are massive. Is this Teenage Emotion's debut week?

let's investigate that claim by looking at t3 hits' lead artists:

2010: female 123456789012 = 12

f+m 1234

male 123456789012 = 12 (tie)

2011: male 123456789

female 1234567890123 = 13 (winning by 44%)

both 1

2012: female 12345678901 = 11

male 12345678901234 = 14 (winning by 27%)

2013: male 1234567890123 = 13 (winning by 86%)

female 1234567

2014: female 12345678901 = 11 (winning by 22%)

male 123456789

2015: female 123

male 1234567890123 = 13 (winning by 333%)

2016: male 12345678901234 = 14 (winning by 367%)

female 123

2017: male 12345678

both 1

female 0

overall totals: male 92, female 60. males win by 53%.

so in 2.5 years, only 7 songs with a female lead have gone t3. the weakest year so far this decade for males was 9.

quick look at 2001-2009: males lead by 1 song, males lead by 4, males lead by 8, males lead by 9, males lead by 1, males lead by 9, males lead by 7, tie, males lead by 6. not seeing this female domination you speak of.

I do, I stanned so hard for his song Exchange, and luckily it did well in the charts.

Taylor better be on Spotify on August or else she may be blocked

Maybe, but it's possible to get #1 without Spotify imo. Last year One Dance was #1 for ages without being on Youtube, so the same could probably be done without Spotify.

I stupidly thought the thread title was going to say congratulations to Ariana who has achieved her first #1 :rip:
