FENTY. Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Oh it’s nice but Sims background music is killing the vibe ugh. It’s so annoying. Just like on Snow on the Beach 3 1
omrimayo Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Amazing song... really. Way better than Glitch or Paris for sure and I'm sure from a lot of other (great) tracks. Shame I won't be having it on streaming for months, if even.
ultraviolence.xx Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 wish the autotune was turned down a little bit but this is written very well
vale9001 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) the sound is boring and the structure is very predictable but it's just a track 22 after all. Edited May 26, 2023 by vale9001
ahauntingnearu Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Boring LBR Taylor learn quality over quantity challenge 5 3
enchanted0 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 It's amazing this song has that classic Jack vibe in a good way 3
Robburro Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 yeah.. based on the lyrics of that song i'd rather be cheated. joe is an ***hole
NordicGuy Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 It's a gorgeous song, the lyrics are very powerful.
stevenisFADING Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 it's honestly so bad. lol. the first verse is terrible. the bridge and the end is great. i will say that but the fact that it's so lopsided makes me never want to listen to it again and thankfully I won't since it's not available for streaming. 1 3
Badgalbriel Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 oh god, what a gorgeous song. so it basically confirms that they broke up because the relationship ran its course and none of them did anything to mend things.

She did a lot of things for him including moving to London for him. She accomodated for him. He was just there. Sounds like he was really indecisive about things and slowly just became apathetic to her feelings. 9 1
queenoftheclouds Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 She should move on from Pop and make country or rock again. 3
Cruel Summer Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Easily in the top tier of Midnights, this is excellent. I almost wish we'd gotten more songs like this and Hits Different - they sound so light in instrumentation despite the lyrics and I love both! 1
TaylorNation Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 SCREAM the version i was first listening to transitioned into ME! during the chorus that person deserves a place in hell that being said, I like it. I need more time with the lyrics though

vuelve88 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) I like it! The line about “I wouldn’t marry me either / a pathological people pleaser” is meant to reflect words that Joe probably told her. Now I understand why Joe looked so rough in that candid after their breakup. I always got the impression that Joe resented her level of fame. Edited May 26, 2023 by vuelve88
