Netflix & Legendary has announced the release date of the animated series Skull Island, the new installment in the MonsterVerse (Godzilla & King Kong). The series will be released on June 22nd.

 

"A group of well-meaning explorers, venture out to sea to rescue Annie from the ocean. In so doing, they find themselves shipwrecked on the perilous Skull Island. Together, they fight to survive the dangers of the mysterious isle, which is home to large creatures and terrifying monsters; including Kong."

Animation looked familiar, it's from the same studio that made Castlevania and Blood of Zeus, we will be watching!

This looks good. Between this, the new Godzilla X Kong film next year as well as the Apple TV live-action Godzilla and the Titans series we’re being fed
