Sure, but that’s not what I’m talking about at all. Perhaps you didn’t understand what I meant by saying Ice Spice benefits immensely from this in money and exposure.

I didn't deny that.

I wasn't talking about ice's perspective, which she can definitely benefit from this collab! No one doubted that.

I was talking about Taylor's benefits by collabing with her. I dont believe in coincidence tbh

So now all we are are pawns for white people? **** off with the fake moral outrage.

ice spice is a person with her own damn feelings that you know nothing about, she chose to be on the song, she chose to be friends with Taylor since they met at the VMAs, and she chose to like the 1975 (for some reason) so no she isn't just some token being used as a cover

Ice Spice can do whatever she wants and I can have MY opinion that Taylor being the obsessive freak that she is wants this collaboration to cover up for her disgusting boyfriend racist behavior.

Cover up? Sis it’s all over the internet, and if there’s anything that can change that, it’s definitely NOT a remix of a song called “Karma”. :lmao:

LITERALLY, TOUCH GRASS!

How is this even possible?

Who thought this was a good idea?

How is this even going to work?

I know you hate Taylor but think a little maybe

This collab was teased by publication before she even started dating him

You and that Other OTH are really ruining everything now

i don't hate taylor. she's literally one of my most streamed artists ever, and I own most of her discography on vinyl. i just hate how shady some of her tactics are and how weird and sneaky the midnights rollout has been

How exactly does this work when the opposite is happening and everyone is learning about what Matt allegedly said about Ice Spice? Make it make sense.

The video and song was definitely planned long before the Matty controversy

The contrary

ATRL being more concerned about what Matty did (or rather, did not) say about Ice Spice than Ice Spice herself. :hoetenks:

If you think this is a PR move or whatever then you’re wrong, it’s just not.

1. Taylor and Ice was connected before her breakup with Joe, and since then there’re rumors talking about their collaboration.

2. Literally no one knows/cares Matty’s words about Ice until yesterday, cause this is so insignificant among all his problematic behaviors:rip:It got viral only because of the collaboration, now everybody knows this. So if this is a PR move, the only reason is Taylor has broken up with Matty and she wants to destroy him

What do they want from her? Do they really want her to open her notes app and screenshot some **** like “I’m really sorry for what my boyfriend said he’s already apologised but to put things even more right we’re going to shelve the collab”?

people need jobs

Stans whose faves are actually racist projecting on Taylor is truly hilarious :toofunny2:

miss was chronically online and has a blog length myspace page pre-fame and yet no one has managed to catch anything against her from it unlike many other newer ones, even when that was ages before the SJW wave…

It’s literally the state of the internet. Faux outrage on behalf of others as a distraction from actual bigotry and oppression in the real world.

Where’s Karma run at Spotify US

and overall radio;

any updates for yesterday?

If they release MV at the same time, she should get #1 easily.

Only problem might be Tina blocking her.

Taylor already filmed the MV for it way before we know about Matt dating her. So wyd?

This is absolutely absurd and I can't wait to hear it.

Literally everyone knows and/or cares about that situation. It's literally all over tiktok, on reddit, and just social media in general. People are upset over this because she's branded herself as an activist in the past when it's convenient for her, but all of a sudden she no longer cares about everything she preached. POC swifties are especially upset that she's not making a statement about this whole situation, and is trying to sweep it under the rug. it makes them feel as if she doesn't care about the issues they face, and that she doesn't make a stand against racism when it actually matters. it's quite sad to see, especially since a lot of people have a prejudice or disdain towards POC swifties, even amongst taylor's own white fanbase.

"the only reason is Taylor has broken up with Matty and she wants to destroy him" - this does not paint taylor in a good light and reinforces negative stereotypes that people use against her.

Tina won't block her on hot 100. On album charts, maybe.

They care more about displaying performative outrage than what an actual black woman thinks or says. Hilarious how they act offended on Ice Spice’s behalf while affording her 0 agency of her own
