this is why you stay poor while spore (still a s*** place for LGBTQ+ people but it's at least improving) is flourishing.

This is such a shame. Malaysia is beautiful country with so much potential and I feel the people there don’t really care as long as you keep it behind closed doors (not ideal but even straight couples are expected to be conservative). The government are just trying to blame LGBT for their own failings.
