Genius1111 Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Govt agencies taking steps to curb 'LGBT culture', says Religious Affairs Minister (msn.com) Quote Rehabilitation under Mukhayyam programmes for the LGBT group is among the strategic steps by the government to curb the spread of such “culture”, says the Religious Affair Minister. Quote Ahmad had asked about strategic steps using the whole-of-government approach in curbing the normalisation of LGBT culture in Malaysia. Mohd Nai’m also said several other bodies such as the Youth and Sports Ministry and Health Ministry were involved in education, prevention and advocating against LGBT culture.
Jormungand Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Isn't Malaysia a predominant Muslim nation? Another country I won't be spending my money in despite the people being beautiful
Pikachoo Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 the gays in that rehab should stream Rihanna’s best song out of protest
Pacify Him Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 I’d be surprised if it’s a western country. But a Muslim-dominant nation? I am not
truthteller Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 this is why you stay poor while spore (still a s*** place for LGBTQ+ people but it's at least improving) is flourishing.
Robert Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 This is such a shame. Malaysia is beautiful country with so much potential and I feel the people there don’t really care as long as you keep it behind closed doors (not ideal but even straight couples are expected to be conservative). The government are just trying to blame LGBT for their own failings.
ZIVERT Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 imagine putting a bunch of gay men in one place and expecting them to be “cured” please!
RunUpDoneUp Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 With how queer Malaysia is, you're fighting a losing battle, religious minister but alas, pain and suffering is the point. It's what god would want, right?
