SimpleKindofLife Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Kendrick’s verse and the added production elements are exactly what the gays deserve she’s really mother
carameldelight Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 It doesn't really change the song but I like it. Why do people think AHAP will only do well on Urban? It's pop song with rap elements to me.
Beyle Street Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 It dropped at 8 on Friday. What was the cut-off/amount of time it had until Saturday to count as a full day?
sadnews Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 spotify chart is based on upc time. and this was released after upc time's 12AM. so yeah it was almost full 24H. in US, it's 7pm to 7pm. so US spotify's Frdiay chart is Thu 7pm to Fri 7pm. and Sat is Fri 7 pm to Sat 7 pm. the problem was... nobody release new music on that time..lol (NY Friday 8 PM / London Sat 1:00 AM / Aus Sat 10 AM )

simon Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 It had a full day on Saturday’s update (minus like 5-10 minutes). So both updates have been full days. The rise is AMAZING, and songs usually do worst on Sundays. I expect it to keep growing throughout the week as additional playlists come & New Music Fridays hit this upcoming Friday.
Lose My Breath Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 I'm really surprised at it's AM performance, but I think it'll keep slowly climbing! The fact that it's almost top 20 on US Spotify is great for her though
simon Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 I think this remix is resonating with pop fans and GenZ than even her HipHop/R&B fanbase which shows the universal appeal of the song. That also explains its higher positioning on Spotify Us
FSXP Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) I’m glad it’s resonating more on Spotify than Apple Music. Only thing stopping her is her Spotify streaming power, once she gains momentum on there, she’ll be a beast on streaming since she’s one of the most successful on AM already. SeeingStars1515 Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 The remix is so good but i totally want Heated to be a single just so she can grace the world with the ballroom outro lol 1
Brooklyn Baby Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 I have not stopped playing this this is how you make a remix
Testosterone Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 If you combine the Remix and the Original (both in the top 200 currently) this is #5 on Spotify in the UK. Wow.

That's my only sour about AHAP, it feels like it took AS's spot. Maybe AS will be the focus song once the visuals drop. Heated could slay as is or with a Drake feature. I'm sure both would be happy to not have to film a video.
