The remix elevated the song for me personally. I didn't hate the solo but it was a cute 8 at best imo and I wanted Heated/AS to be a single over it (still manifesting). Kendrick's verse and the slight production changes slapped so hard and made it a 10/10.

I kinda wish Kendrick could've more present throughout the rest of the song cause his energy in the opening is just electric. Plus maybe the synths towards the end could've been more prominent earlier.

 

But these are just nitpickings, the remix is still a collapse and elevated the song.

I agree with you on the synths, I wish is it prevalent throughout the whole song, but overall, I really love the way it is
