Iconic song, I was in awe when I watched her perform this live at Glastonbury and everyone was singing along. :weeps:

It's what she deserves! :clap3:

Deserved because it defined an era and her sound is a thing of its own, one of my all time faves.

They messed up by saying this came out in the 2000s in the movie even though the remix wasn't released till 2010.

Dog Days came out in December 2008

I’m so happy that this amazing song finally gets the recognition it deserves!

Dog Days Are Over was released as a single twice in the UK, once in 2008 and again in 2010 so that's probably where the confusion comes from.

the remix came out in 2010, which was release in 2010 (and I mentioned that in my earlier comment)

It was used so well at the end of the film. Hearing her voice immediately brought a smile to my face. It's what she deserves :clap3:

I’ll never get how Dog Days are Over and Walking on a Dream didn’t smash in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Those songs had the perfect sound for 2008, 2009, 2010.
