I’m glad that this is a hit, but I really hope it doesn’t make the label force her to release this type of music going forward.

Ocean Blvd was such an evolution in writing style in particular for Lana and, while I like SYTH, it’s definitely a more basic song in terms of structure and sound compared to her last few releases.

I'm sorry, I'm a big Lana stan, but this song does not captivate me. The chorus is very simple and short. It does not compare to her epics on Ocean Blvd. And not them releasing a Tiktok version officially :skull:

But extremely happy the song is doing well! Lana deserves some more commercial success

I don’t think at this point in her career they can force her to write anything lol but hell she has 1000 other songs in the vault they can pitch as singles like this one if they really want to :rip:

One vault album won’t hurt anybody I’ve never heard any of her unreleased songs so I would love to hear a whole project. She also needs to put Sirens and Lana Del Ray on streaming.

If this gets a MV before anything else from Ocean Blvd lol

Posted in another thread, but I'd be here for an unreleased album, just not a ******* randomizer tracklist. You'd think she'd want a home for SYTH considering how many times she tried to fit it in past projects. It's anticlimactic for it to be a droplet, but worse in a blender of sounds from a group of random viral unreleaseds. We need a concise sounding unreleased project & she could still do that

Say Yes to Heaven

Fine China

Angels Forever, Forever Angels

JFK

Starry Eyed

Hollywood

Cult Leader

Your Girl

Unidentified Flying Bill

Wild One

If I Die Young

Something like that would be most pleasing to me! And then a part 2 for the pop ones

Top 10 debut in the UK and top 60 debut in the USA on lock without moving a damn finger? Her power. :clap3:

Throw in Prom Song and we have her best album to date, I fear! :clap3:

I decided to Say Yes to Heaven today, and wow, this song is gorgeous, simple yet so effective. Easily replaying it, love the dreamy etheral atmosphere.

If this is truly an Ultraviolence outtake, I'm sorry, but Lana is insane for axing this. Say Yes to Heaven is legitimately better than any song off of Ultraviolence, possibly barring The Other Woman. I'm not saying Ultraviolence is bad (I might listen to it again for nostalgia's sake), but if the whole song included Say Yes to Heaven and The Other Womans, I would've liked it A LOT more.

I don't think we are getting Your Girl. The whole structure sounds too similar to Sad Girl.

Here for AFFA tho although it's another song that sounds very similar to a released one (Ride).

The way this overshadowed the whole Ocean era and the video she just dropped like last week that went ignored 💀💀💀

That because Flop Necklace should have never happened. :coffee2: Having A&W, Paris Texas, Grandfather, Peppers, Let The Light In right there, she released a video for such a mid song. :coffee2:

i think she could easily compile most of the unreleased tracks from UV and beyond and it would sound cohesive at least. the problem is with the poppier, pre-UV tracks like Prom Song, Queen of Disaster, Serial Killer etc.
