On par with Pokémon :clap3: to think it was never as large a seller even though Twilight Princess did very well back in the day. Now it’s smashing, Link deserves this so much

Considering how leggy BOTW’s chart run was TOTK might reach 20 million sooner than expected :clap3:

TALENT. ALWAYS. WINS.

Not surprised, my tl has been filled with little videos of people playing it.

I'm tempted to buy it.

Nintendo is a queen but I wish they could approximate PS4 graphics in the future.

Even WII U did not catch up with PS3.

That's not their appeal though, I don't see why games like Mario, Pokemon, Kirby and the like need PS4 graphics. Thet need to be fun, and they are :cm:

OT: Not a huge fan of Zelda but this was expected, BOTW was a huge success after all :clap3:

Imagine how much it'll sell on Switch 1 and then will continue selling on Switch 2 FOR YEARS till the next Zelda in 2028 or so :jonnycat: It might hit 50M with Switch 2 version. Or even 60 in a 5 years... I mean, WOM is amazing, people loving it. So sky's the limit with this one... :clap3::clap3::clap3:

I finally ordered it on Sunday with an Amazon gift card I got from Credit Card points, but she still hasn’t even shipped. Amazon Prime one day delivery my a**. The way they charge $80 a year and almost NEVER ship video games to me in under a week :gaycat7:

might be GOTY if not for spider man 2 lol!

:skull: Sis the Spiderman games are amazing but lbr that’s not even in the same echelon as Zelda. It’s like when HZD launched in the BOTW release window and almost fell into obscurity

This is the biggest launch of all-time for Nintendo and definitely one of the biggest launches ever. HUUUUUGE. The Legend Of Zelda has always been the most prestigious franchise in this industry but Breath Of The Wild really helped making it much bigger with the general public and that's all it needed.

I am beyond happy to see these numbers, whou would have thought that Zelda would do commercially better than Pokémon ? Crazy.

I am excited to see what the game has to offer as I have only played around 20 hours so far and I am also dying to see in what direction the next game will go.

how does this compare to other games with a huge launch (e.g., Animal Crossing)? Queen Isabelle, her wig isn't safe :cries:

but this is so deserved. BOTW is a masterpiece and I was doubtful they could follow it up with something substantial. They not only exceeded my expectations but smashed them out of the park.

Tied with Pokémon SV as the biggest console exclusive launch on any system. Both 3 days. Only GTA and Red Dead are bigger but those launched on multiple systems.

those overrated Pokemon games are such a stain :deadbanana4: but wow that's insane.

Absolutely deserved. Breath of the Wild was a revolution in open-world gaming and the industry in general, but Tears of the Kingdom elevates it to a higher degree.

Nintendo created something so insanely special (AGAIN) and I'm so happy it's finally ours to experience.

Omfg, that's huge. A friend of mine just bought it for around 110 dollars (in Argentinian pesos) 'cause games (and technology as a whole) are ridiculously overpriced here. I'm hoping it'll be worth it for him. :skull:
