I’ve just had my first listen and I have to admit she and Koze ATE THIS UP 

So wonderfully weird like a soundtrack to some twisted funhouse. It’s probably her most adventurous album so far with lots of fun moments (I completely lost it at Milf Funk and Róisín going trap on Two Ways would have never been on my bingo card), and the 1-2 punch of Free Will - You Knew even tugged at my feels a bit (the former being one of her best songs ever tbh). I’ll need a couple more listens, so far I’m not sure it will become my favorite Róisín album, although it is objectively top tier.

 

Also, can we just dedicate a moment to how astounding the deluxe vinyl is? I legit gasped out loud when I opened it, so beautifully executed.

Yeah I new about it but know she isn’t on tour anytime soon this is why I didn’t go for deluxe …

From what I've seen they're all gorgeous so you can't go wrong! Regarding the content, the deluxe only has one bonus track (Milf Funk) and the difference in design is that the picture / lyric booklet is glued into the gatefold, so the whole thing feels like a huge book. The inner sleeves also have a mirror effect which looks cool but a nightmare to read the liner notes on, lol. I'm actually considering getting a standard copy because I'm so afraid of damaging this one

It's actually GORGEOUS! The purple/black/sometimes-white swirls on the vinyl fit the cover perfectly. It's also actually deluxe. It's MUCH thicker than the standard gatefold. Has a stunning booklet (not sure if the others have the booklet as well tbh) and the title and tracklist are done with a metallic foil effect. Also the inner sleeves are shiny silver mirror-y lol. 

 

It's definitely worth the 5 bucks more. Plus the obvious bonus track. Others selling 1LP in a newspaper for 40 bucks should be ashamed tbh.
