It's kinda funny to me that her worst album to date is the one coming alongside the news of her being a TERF

 

I do think her statement was moving in the correct direction, but stopped just short of an actual apology. She needed to say she was educating herself more on the matter, and not stepping away from it altogether.

EMI were pitching her as "the new Kylie Minogue" when they were promoting Overpowered and she told off some journalist for saying it. 

 

I think she was also pressed because Kylie wore Gareth Pugh after her.

I would genuinely be interested to know how many pre-orders got cancelled since all of this mess started. We will never know, but i imagine it‘s quite a few. She alienated the part of her audience that was willing to buy multiple copies of the album.

Well I got a refund and I was supposed to make a new order but spent that money on food instead so yeah

And how many of them were replaced by terfs  I thought prior to this she'd peak around #7-8 in the uk like Sophie Ellis-Bextor did but now I honestly have no idea.

I mean her “only 500” white label signed copies sold out the same day they came on sale and now they are back in stock… so she isn’t doing very well I’m afraid
