artist stats Ed Sheeran now #1 most certified artist in Germany

With last night‘s update, Ed officially becomes the most certified artist in Germany, surpassing national #1 Herbert Grönemeyer.

He has now moved over 18.5m units which definitely won‘t the end of the road for him.

Note: the figure includes units for songs he has writing credits on.

"Shape of You" now stands at 2.4m units in Germany, making it the fourth biggest selling song of all time. The single still moves around 200k in 18 months.
