Adele to earn record breaking $1.75M per show for Vegas residency

The multiple Grammy winner’s 60-show deal to perform at The Colosseum — the first stretch of 26 performances ended April 16 — will net her a guaranteed $105 million, the sources said.

That comes out to $1.75 million per appearance, but the pact also throws in a 5% sweetener if ticket sales minus expenses exceed her nightly windfall, according to the first Adele insider. The source said ticket sales — when the new run begins on June 16 — are currently averaging $2.5 million after expenses, which should lift her payday up to roughly $2 million.

“It’s a record,” both sources said.

Adele’s guaranteed nightly payout snatches the tiara from Lady Gaga, whose residency according to a casino.org analysis grossed $1.5 million a show. The “Poker Face” singer’s run at the Park Theater at Park MGM ran for four years, ending last May.

Britney Spears reportedly earned $137 million from her Planet Hollywood residency from 2013-2017, but that covered 146 shows — averaging out to a little over $1 million per night.

Only the queen of Vegas residencies. :clap3:

What’s the source for it? No offence but sounds like a PR article…

Also kinda strange how her Vegas boxscores never came out even 6 months later…

Meanwhile the core fanbase was basically fed dogshit when it comes to promo and getting to see her anytime soon. That 1.75 can be 5 million and the era will still remain a failure and disappointment as far as I’m concerned.

She and whatever big extravagant plans she has for that cash can go to hell.

I mean she made it clear as day that she thought her last tour would be her last. She kept it real with you all.

She has a fear of flying and she gets stage fright. She chose Vegas to help ease both of those things. She may tour eventually but she already did the shows in the UK to compensate. But a new stage every few nights plus flying every other day is just not who she is.

Adele is notoriously private when it comes to her private life (which extends into her finances) she never even released the box scores for her stadium tour dates during 25 era.

The way she has no incentive to do a worldwide tour when she’s making $$$ on a small capacity residency :deadbanana4:

No stress. Just show up in one place every weekend for 6 months out of the year and make $$$

Tours are better for her long term career and help her promote her music globally. Unfortunately, I doubt she cares about that.

Isn’t livenation(?) the one who releases box scores though?
Unless an artist wants to hide them (like we’ve seen with some acts in the past few years, hiding their half empti tours) I don’t see why the numbers wouldn’t be released.

I mean her residency has 100% attendance (all legs have sold out in the presale) so I’m assuming it’s her doing. :michael:
another reason is the British press have it out for her, so no doubt if she did release the box scores they would only spin and use it against her in some way. Who knows :michael:

I also will become lazy af if I already earned almost 2M per night :deadbanana2:

That means no new album and tour for the next 10 years :deadbanana2:
