Nothing in Spain was going to be successful this year so at least they’re taking the piss of it :bibliahh:

The 2 boys had some chances to enter top15 and Caliente could be a summer hit BUT ...

Her victory is so important to continue the message Kylie gave with Padam Padam: STOP AGEISM IN POP MUSIC

They seem so nice in the interviews,  they just wanted publicity 🤣🥰

Wait Malta is kind of fun too... SO glad this is shaping up to be a pop girl heavy year instead of the dreadful battle of the bands we had last year

Nebulossa's victory kind of feel like Rigoberta's revenge... :clownny: She is THE MOMENT!

I just hope they come up with a new stage design similar to the music video :ihype:

My ranking so far. If Ukraine chooses Teresa & Maira, they're probably gonna be my #2. That'd make me stan 4 out of 10 selected entries :clap3:

I don’t even think they need much. I’m getting heavy 1944 vibes with their song/staging combo. Give them an LED moment like Jamala had and it’ll be perfect

This is my ranking so far but I literally just listened to all the songs so it will probably change 1000 times. Also it's my personal ranking and I know Albania is not gonna be above France but I just can't not stan this queen :chick1:

miss Albania is not making it to the finals is she... I'm gonna be sad just like I was sad for Vladana :snowball:

The Maltese girlie cannot sing. This is her entry from last year's MESC.

Spain might pull a Natalia Gordienko this year for the level of camp it's serving. You never know. I like it :flame:

Slimane is still a solid Top 1 :clap3:

A total of 25,910 votes were cast by the Spanish public in the televote. Televote results:

  • Nebulossa – 4,484 votes
  • Jorge González – 4,482 votes

Not a two vote difference :deadbanana2:

Had Jorge gotten three additional votes, he'd sweep the public vote, but would still end up being 3rd overall :rip: Their system is so broken.

Jorge is the definition of pretty privilege :rip: The song was mediocre, the choreo was nonexistent, people saw him strip down and really said 'ay papi' :toofunny3:

Can't believe he was being compared to CHANEL

Anyway now that NF mode is in full swing, I better start listening to all the songs. Only listened to France, Albania and Spain so far

Spain is 2/10 i fear. It's barely listenable and i don't have any desire to play the song again. I am simply not seeing or hearing anything special. The live vocals and overall performance was so bad and messy. It's bottom half for them again, but i am not sure do they even care at this point.

Nebulossa literally won the public and the jury vote and was the most streamed song prior to the contest by far. How is it not a fair win? :rip:

I don’t think her win isn’t fair, but the system is broken. Were the public votes not converted into the unproportionate system, her and Jorge would’ve been tied.

My problem lies with the fact that the jury can give someone as much as 96 points, while the public can give no more than 80 points. If you place third, or even fourth, with the demoscopic juries and/or the public, you still have a shot at winning. If the expert jury places you outside of top 2, you stand absolutely no chance.

Is it me or is Malta's song/act a shameless copy from SloMo? The similarities are uncanny, especially in the first verse and the chorus.

I loved her dancing though, the dance break was amazing.
