meanwhile Eleni is serving lyrics like this

Met a boy in Ibiza
But the boy he was a cheater
I think this one is a keeper
Cool like Cola in the freezer

Iru Khechanovi school of English with Jerry Heil as the teacher

And how is that relevant to her 2018 entry, Fuego?

I can also pull up random lyrics from Netta's discography and make fun of her

Hey you
Do you think you got game? You
Nunchuckin' like Bruce Lee
Better write this down, 978-978-9 Inc
Gonna make you brand new
Come closer, boy
Bolepo bolepo bolepo bo
Bolepo bolepo bo

Toy was the favorite to win from the minute it was released, and the entire fandom wrote Eleni off until her rehearsal. Both are icons, but let's stop rewriting history acting like Netta robbed anyone... Facts are facts! :sistrens:

Very random but Tommy Cash, a very famous Estonian rapper has said that he is considering participating in Eesti Laul next year. Omg, it would be so camp, I cannot wait for Eurofans to discover him 😂

Also, I watched the Eden Golan video, with every passing Israhell video, I just want to get a shotgun, kill everyone who were responsible for Joost's disqualification and then myself.

He collabed with Kaarija on its crazy its party no?

I think that some "joke" or "gimmick" entries in Eurovision will age poorly or good. Dancing Lasha Tumbai, Run Away or even Dustin remain iconic. Toy due to the circumstances surrounding Israel and the context in general, hasn't aged that good tbh.

I am curious to see if Cha Cha Cha will remain iconic or age badly. For now, I think it's good.

Yeah but trust me, this is one of his calmer songs.

Kaarija being the cause of more musicial terrorism again in 2025. The juries might have made points in 2023 after all even tho CCC > Tattoo

I dont like these stages this and last year, with a small stage in front of the backdrop and then a pointy "runway" type of the stage.

Having audience on the sides of the stage/backdrop makes the stage and arena look so small, and more like a concert or talent show stage.

Omg not Tommy Cash

I remember being obsessed with this song

Also Рussy Money Weed, Winaloto and the Charli XCX collab were really good

Also stages look better like this when they are like a hill, and could be climbed from the audience lmao

I just want to see how he'll compose a song for Eurovision. He needs to become family friendly. Omg, it's going to be so fun 😂

No Rules! is musical terrorism and Finland mass voted that instead of an actual good song (Paskana)

I genuinely believe that Finland would have chosen No Rules even if Käärijä had never participated in UMK. Finnish mostly go for memorable performances or rock songs.

Paskana was second though in televoting and I genuinely believe that had the vocals and staging been better, she would have done better in televoting and maybe she would have won.

The great thing with Joost is that unlike other Eurovision artists, he has many songs, plenty of albums and music videos for the new fans to check out. His big songs like Omer Robert, Droom Groot or Friesejung are gaining a small but stable momentum in plenty of countries right now which is a sign that people are checking the rest of his discography and not Europapa only.

I am genuinely so happy for him, he totally deserves it. I cannot wait for his new album, he has been working on it and I'm sure it's going to be a banger.

Super unpopular opinion among the fandom, but somebody has to air it: Fuego was so astonishingly basic. The dancing was also rather basic. Nothing we haven't seen 100 times before. (I mean just compare it with Chanel's performance. :rip:) Eleni was quite charismatic though, I'll give y'all that. :coffee2:

Toy at least had some spice. Its release was also timely.

Toy was a 3-minute masterclass in onomatoepiac camp avant-garde music concrète feminist-electro-pop with a Middle Eastern flare. It's unfortunate she's from THAT place but I cannot make the music not bop.

The spillery!!

I actually prefer Liar over Fuego :rip:
