2023 was a great year imo. Maybe one of the best Eurovision shows yet.

 

I'm tired of the constant negativity in the Eurovision community. It's one of the reasons why I don't visit the Eurovision subreddit anymore. It's just tiring. The theme art looks cute. I like how colorful it is.

I don’t necessarily hate the artwork, but it’s a very lazy Apple Music Replay / Spotify Wrapped concept

 

The Spanish songs are all awful. We have gotten more early content this Eurovision season but nobody is really serving so far. 
 

Hopefully when Albania has their final things will start to improve

You criticise something you're passionate about. Eurofans eating up eveything EBU serves them are not real fans.

And I don't get the hype around Almacor at all, it's just an average urban song, pretty forgettable, and highly autotuned (guess the live it's gonna be a mess). Someone please explain to me why it's getting hype.

Because Almacor has a song that could be a hit in Spain, it's the kind of music people listen in Spain. They want to make Benidorm fest an actual festival so this kind of artist is the only way to get 'gp' invested on Benidormfest.

Most people in Spain don't really care about Eurovision at all, because there is a big difference between what other Eurovision countries wants from Spain vs the music that people in Spain really like. So Almacor may not be something interesting for eurovision but it can make spanish people being interested in Benidorm fest.

I like the northern lights concept and it looks cute in motion. Non-animated version of it are....a trial for my eyes. Very Spotify Wrapped-coded.
