The EBU genuinely needs to be ashamed. They got no ******* balls, there is NO justification for Israel to be part of ESC, there never has been.

this list is gross i'm sorry

I'm so happy to see Australia on the list :heart2:

Boycott is the only answer i fear. We will NOT be watching this crap anymore!

SHAME ON EBU!

Even beyond Eurovision, KAN should be suspended from the EBU for the propaganda they've been spreading

as expected.... not surprised, but still disappointed

GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE ORGANISATION AND CONTEST. DEATH TO THE EBU. It's so aggravating to the point where I genuinely feel physical aggression.

Where the **** is Ireland? Spain? Iceland? The supposed pro-Palestinian nations in Europe. Didn't Iceland want to boycott 2019 when it was hosted in Tel Aviv? We all remember Hatari's serve in the greenroom. *crickets*

What's annoying me too is the complete SILENCE by the Ukrainian euroclowns on Twitter with N*zi symbolism in their display names when it's them who should be vocal about the Israeli DSQ, considering they are somewhat in the same shoes as Palestine. Instead they're too busy having meltdowns over the Russian-born artist in the Czechia NS. :ahh:

And the fact that the EBU is putting in NO EFFORT in negotiating the participation of countries like Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro who cannot afford the high costs of sending a delegation. Or the fact that the Bosnian broadcaster is not allowed to participate because it owes money but somehow a broadcast of a nation that's currently committing a genocide, is spewing propaganda and is openly celebrating the deaths of innocent civilians, majority of them children.

KAN is no different than Russia One or whatever the national broadcaster Russia has.

Eurovision is over for me. I feel 0 hype this year so yeah, whatever.

and also **** that Victoria girl for edging the fandom by teasing a possible Bulgaria return, only for her to release a cover of AIWFCIY that not a single soul had asked for :ahh:

Maybe Chax3 losing was for the best :fan:

We need SVT to announce Gina Dirawi, Farah Abadi, and Eric Saade as hosts QUICKLY

Yeah I won't be tuning in this year :wave0:

Even if none of the broadcasters did protest against Israel participating, they should have just sat out. Their act is likely going to get booed and likelihood that others in the audience won't take kindly to Israeli flags being waved in the arena. I dunno how the EBU can't see that coming.. this year gonna be a ******* mess :biblio:

I'm positive Israel will pull out at some point within January.

Wait Azerbaijan is also in. This is so going to be a messy year. If Israel pulls out but not Azerbaijan it's still going to be a **** show as people will focus their attention on them. :skull:

The obvious elephant in the room

I wouldn't put it past Israel to bribe the juries and cheat the televote to get themselves a win. Absolutely vile and disgusting.

Lmaooo I think I know exactly who you're talking about

Israel got some booing in 2016 and 2019

I can't even imagine what's going to happen next year. Great way to ruin this competition, make it weird and political.

Good job ESC. I'm watching this show every year to bop my ass and laugh, not be reminded of the atrocities of the world. Or maybe Israel deserve the humiliation, you judge. I ain't watching this year.

I think it is dangerous to send an act from Israel, especially to Malmö. I think the risk of terrorism is too high. Israel could participate like Australia in the Corona era

Laughing out loud at the people in here “boycotting.”

Isrsel have been in the competition for decades while being in conflict with Palestine. Why are you only now just deciding to boycott?

I’m sure I’ll see you in here next May when social media has moved on to the next trend

How tone-deaf do you have to be to describe a situation where 2.2 million people are right now in an open-air prison, getting bombed daily, barely getting food resources and aid is barely creeping through and describe it as the 'next trend'? People are dying at mass capacity right now, hospitals are bombed, schools are bombed, UN shelters are bombed and you are wondering why people are choosing to boycott this year when EBU was so swift with Russia? And it's not even a 'trend' when the original announcement tweet has been ratio'd with a tweet in the 40k - 80k likes calling this out.

If people threatened to stop watching in 2022 if Russia wasn't disqualified (when that conflict had been happening for almost 8 years prior) then I don't see anything wrong with people choosing not to engage with this year either especially with how more people are aware of what's happening in Palestine.
