We need the pop bangers from Bulgaria. I know we can serve that so no excuses. No IMPs and Billie Eilish cosplays anymore!! Edited November 14, 2023 by Pendulum

Hurem Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 This is so boring You can tell they did this to justify countries like Israel and Azerbaijan to remain in the competition. Wonder how they'll justify Russia and Belarus being disqualified tho

Everything EBU and Eurovision does screams faux-authenticity. It's always "united by music" "we love diversity" and all that sugar-coated crap, unless it goes against the narrative. EU is supporting Israel in this and half of Europe's gas comes from Azerbaijan. Where are the multiple countries that threatened to withdraw if Russia was to continue to participate? *crickets* Edited November 14, 2023 by Pendulum 1

If they were gonna have a permanent logo it should be Building Bridges
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted November 14, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted November 14, 2023 The permanent slogan is definitely a precursor to the participation of Israel and Azerbaijan. And any rightful criticism of their participation will be met with 'we want all of Europe to come together for this moment' it's so frustrating. Also we DO NOT want The Roop again please flop like Keiino
Solaria Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Eurovision being streamlined to become this hypermodern business model is so wrong for so many reasons. It literally takes all the soul out of the contest 3

Sweden truly ruining the contest one year at a time It’s at moment like this when I really go into defense mode for 2000s Eurovision. Say what you want about the quality of the songs back then, the contest was much more one of a kind and unique back then. The camp factor was still on a higher pedestal than the ‘we need to appeal to the social media era’ mentality. We were also doing so good in between 2015-2019. That was such a peak era. I still love the contest with all my heart but decisions like this may seem small but they tell a lot about what they want Eurovision to eventually become. It’s sad. Apparently SVT wasn't aware that EBU is gonna announce this today and they thought the permanent slogan was still up for debate. So let's trash EBU, not Sweden
