This is wild. You can just feel tonight there will be some big tensions.

The questions is - will other delegation come in support for Netherlands, and possibly refuse to perform?

Even if they refuse to perform, they will just use semi-final footage and call it a day. I'm starting to think the reason why they made the Big 5 + Sweden perform on semi-final days, is to prevent a situation of no tape if they start refusing to perform :rip:

And here I was thinking that 2020 would be the most cursed year, but apparently having to ******* cancel the show because of a pandemic isn't as messy as whatever is going on now

In light of this, Joost Klein's behaviour towards a team member is deemed in breach of Contest rules.

Damn, so it's serious enough that they can put this in writing. The amount of people already defending harassment of woman is crazy

EBU needs to transfer Dutch Jury points to Croatia to prevent Israel from winning :duca:

A reminder, this is Martin Oserdahl's karma. "three extremely turbulent years" is a kii when the last 24 hours alone has been messier than 2021/2022/2023 combined  :deadbanana:

Yeah about this. I think we all agree that Israel should be DQd for... a lot of reasons, but if Joost actually abused a woman and it was THAT serious she went to the police, I don't think it's wrong to DQ them too :rainy:

There's buzz a few are already trepidatious about doing so. But I'm doubtful anything that major would happen.
