Jon Snow Posted May 10 Posted May 10 i know it feels right to boycott things that do harm to the world, but coming from a country where opposition boycotted elections, i can confirm that it only got worse after that. imagine that there was no Joost or Marina (or Nemo) at this years contest because they boycotted - none of the participants would've raised their voice against the injustice and the public would end up thinking that everyone agrees with the narrative and that there's no injustice and genocide happening. in that context, i tend to agree with Loreen's argument and are any of us boycotting the Eurovision? right however, we should've demanded harder for Israel to be disqualified months ago 7
Fevesy Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Guys Malta is not coming back, it's probably an album announcement or smth
Both Sides Now Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) Personally I'm shocked that the inclusion of a state actively committing genocide would cause controversy! Who could have predicted this?? Edited May 10 by Both Sides Now 6 1

It's perfectly fine to not support it if it stands for injustice.
