PerfectCure Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Btw, does anyone else genuinely think Latvia qualifying doesn't seem organic? The crowd had no reaction to it during Dons' performance and it's the first time ever a song dead last in the odds gets through. It's like Romania or San Marino would have qualified in 2023. 1
Dante Posted May 10 Posted May 10 The relevancy of Italian televote was diminished when they gave 8pts to Albania. 2

elvenOCEAN Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Ukraine complaining about getting the death slot is something They've had the best running order pretty much every year for the past 15 years. Lets not.

At least Latvia is listenable in comparison with those abominations from 2023 that you mentioned 1

I’ve seen some suggestions that a few countries had to use juries for the votes last night - San Marino also does, Belgium because of their actions on I*real. It would make sense Dons qualified this way. 1

It's an interesting theory, but wouldn't Österdahl have had something to say during his intervention before the qualifiers announcement if that was the case?
Lovesong Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I still think everybody should stop meltdowns: Israel will get top 5 at most, and song would get in top 10 even if tragic events didn't happen simply because there are too many trashy/gimmick songs this year. And If I was Käärijä I would be seething if Croatia / Netherlands / Switzerland were to win.

When several countries cheated during the 2022 semi-final it wasn't announced until after the final 1
