True! I was forcing myself to place some of these songs in my lower ranking. Semi 2 is full of great songs!

This was such a moment. Probably the biggest musical cultural reset in Europe this century( well maybe only 2nd after Gagas debut). The whole continent was shocked the day after Finland won.

is this true? i was looking into this some days ago and only found one person saying that SVT does not want to ban israel because their government is very pro-israel and wouldn't take any pro-palestine stance. ofc this might be true about the government, but just because that is the case doesn't mean the broadcaster or the organisers of the contest would have the same view on it. for example germany's government's stance is clear but yet there are people working for the national broadcaster that have voiced their support for palestine/ related boycotts in the past few months/weeks so obv the same thing could be true for svt.

That's what I heard from someone who works for SVT. Their stance wasn't necessary pro-Palestine, but moreso wanting to avoid potential mess that Israeli participation will bring, if that makes sense.
