Comparing RTD to the masterpiece that is Cha Cha Cha is an insult.

That’s the issue that I have. That performance was good for Dora, it’s not enough to win ESC. And it’s basically identical, with the exception of an extra guitar player and the audience being visible during the techno “viral” dance.

I’m not worried about Swedes coming through with great camera shots and pacing, but the lack of props and the horrible choreography are not it.

I agree that Maneskin vibe was the way to go, but they don’t realise how choreographed that performance was. It looked spontaneous, but that was the point. I feel like Lasagna thinks he can go on stage and just do whatever he feels like doing, and let’s just say he’s not that good (notice how many times he was looking to the right on Dora).

From what I heard, the performance is gonna be a hot mess. From the new outfits, to the new LED visuals… Why does Croatia always have to take what’s good in the NF performance and replace it with something worse? :doc:

What Eurofans expect of Croatia: Scandinavian and West European staging budget and professionalism

What Croatia is gonna deliver: low budget, unorganized, half-assed, uncorrelated performance that looks like it's made for a 2003 Eurovision stage

Some of y'all are so overdramatic over Croatia :rip: Chill

he's gonna do fine

Stream this instead and cheer yourself up

Speaking of staging,I'm really tired of the LED-heavy trend in staging. I miss when having a decent performer, some backup singers or dancers were enough the be considered a good staging

Like when people were clowing Mimicat last year for having "no staging" when it looked completely fine :skull: it just didn't have heavy LED

Another reason to hate Sweden since they introduced that trend in 2015. Also probably one of the main reasons why Eastern Europe is struggling more and more in recent years, since Western countries just have more money and resources to spend.

This year, apart from Greece winning the contest, I'm MOST excited about the inevitable gay collapse we will be blessed upon with Sertab Etener's performance of the best winning song in Eurovision history:

I'm tired of these good-looking men getting all these points cause of their looks, especially in public.

I have the same feeling, even tho I love the song.

It's giving Halo vibe, from 2022.

Rim Tim Tagi Dim just screams winner to me and nothing else comes close. He needs to work on that "there's no going back" tone a bit, simplify the staging and that's it.

For the sake of our mental health, thank you for understanding. Having what seems to be one of the most open years in recent history only to end up with the same winner as 2 years ago and going to Hamburg or w/e random city next year might break me

:clack:

It's not that open, it's between 3 countries. Italy, Ukraine and Netherlands. Basically the same countries keep winning in rotation, which is why we all need to vote for Spain this year.

Yeah, i am not the biggest fan but Croatia is winning i fear. It will be a mix of this year being very meh and messy and them surprising everyone at Eurovision and GP eating it up.

Good luck to Mr Baby Lasagna on even getting top 5 with the juries

Worst case scenario possible is Ukraine winning for the third time in 10 years and Italy finishing second meaning we would probably be stuck with RAI hosting next year again:rip:

I believe that France has high chances of winning too. If the jury pushes him hard enough, he is a contender for the win, even if many don't want to admit this for whatever reason.

Because he’s pretentious and the song is grating
