Greece WILL qualify, but I can see it ending around #10-#15

It depends on the staging/performance. Remember when Fuego was around #20 in bets but right after the rehearsals it exploded? Fingers crossed

Add thousands of screaming fans and him having to project his voice a lot more than in that video and it’s going to be a total mess vocally

Notes

  1. ^ Bambie Thug uses they/them and fae/faer pronouns; this article uses they/them pronouns for consistency.

I don't hear what y'all are hearing in the Greece song. I can see it being Spain 2023'd.

i hope they go with the backing singers approach for eurovision instead of heavy backing tracks (which the ebu should ban again anyway :penguin:)

Olly said on the One Show today that he is packing knee pads for the "choreography" and there was an ad for 4-5 male dancers for Eurovision dates.. so backing track it is

Greece is definitely taking away votes from Italy in the finals

Why is Zari so addictive!!! It's one of those rare cases that after the 1st listen I'm thinking that there's no way I'm listening to that thing again... but I have it on repeat. :rip:

I'm usually very realistic when it comes to Eurovision and in general agree w eurofans & the bettings odds, but what the actual hell is going with the hype for Switzerland & Lithuania? The songs are messy af, I literally get 0 appeal from it.

Although I saw that Lithuania fell down on the betting odds hard, which makes a bit more sense.

While I'll be rooting for Greece & Serbia (and Sweden if that girl that's second in the odds win), I can see the appeal for the Netherlands, Italy or Belgium for example. But SWI and LTH are a real enigma to me.

Ngl studio version of Greece is giving fanwank of the year that unexpectedly gets a mid result in the final and Eurofans will claim that it was robbed for the next century

If the juries do what they're supposed to, yes, but I just remembered their unprecedented support for the cookie cutter pain/rain euphoria rehash from last year so maybe scratch that post

Are we ready for the Maria Sur slayage today? :jonny5:

Can't stop watching Doomsday Blue.

I feel that if they qualify they're either going to be the first one to be announced or the last one.

By the way, Bambi Thug just revealed to Rolling Stone that they've been working with a choreographer and a director on something bigger than what they presented on Eurosong. I wonder if there will be elements of the music video in the actual performance. I really hope they keep the two dancers from the national performance because I thought they were a great addition to the performance.

On my way to see Melfest live :jonny5: Can’t wait to witness Jacqline’s supremacy!

There were exactly TWO people protesting in front of the RTS building in support to Breskvica.
