Also, I find it really off-putting how some people think only 'rich' countries deserve to win because they'll be able to produce a better show. The West made ESC pretty sterile for a couple of years, but it's time to actually make it fun again. If Croatia were to win, we'd most certainly get back several countries - Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania - maybe even Bosnia and Herzegovina. We need Eastern Europe back! Spill! I need Croatia's neighbouring Hungary back. With the way smaller (and poorer) countries are dropping out from Eurovision year after year, we will soon be left without semi-finals. Without Luxermburg returning back this year and if Israel gets suspended, we are nine (9) countries away from having grand finals without the finals. All it takes is another 4 countries giving up and will Eurovision doing semifinals with only 12 songs of which 2 are being let go from performing at the finals be even worth it?
gimmelaugh Posted March 2 Posted March 2 A Croatia win would be amazing but I still feel like France might snatch it cause it will stand out among all the bops. It's either this or Albania gags everyone with the upcoming revamp and ends up winning the whole thing

DLW Posted March 2 Posted March 2 It’s funny how Italy is #1 on the Scoreboard but literally nobody is expecting them to win
Fevesy Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Croatia winning means we get Albina performing Tick-Tock at the opening of the Grand Final and it then has its Snap moment and gains a billion streams 1 1

Komet Posted March 2 Posted March 2 keep in mind PZE has a 12pts+12pts system, so breskva is not winning if she's not in jury top ~5 even is she gets 90% of the votes. one of the other faves will probably be high enough with both to snatch the win, the question is who.
Hurem Posted March 2 Posted March 2 My bet is on Breskvica and Zorja winning televote and jury respectively, with Teya Dora getting 10 points from both, thus winning. I can’t see the jury placing Breskvica above Zorja, Konstrakta and Teya Dora, so she is getting 7 pts max.
Lil Mxnster Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Today I'll listen all the songs released to date, but I doubt any of them will top the total italo-latin masterpiece
MALAMENTE Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I need Konstrakta to win because the song is a bop and I love the concept

abelfenty Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) Love Konstrakta but no way does she deserve to win this year. She’s brought the exact same concept as last time Edited March 2 by abelfenty
Bloodflowers. Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I want Zorja to win, she is better singer than the French guy Konstrakta has great performance with the context of the song but for majority of Europe who doesn't understand her language would think she is just being lazy and uninspired not knowing the political and social message behind it Teya Dnora will flop just like Romania 2021 and Bulgaria 2022, people here get hyped about Billie Eilish copycats but when it comes to televote, it gets lost because people like the song but not enough to have it as their #1 where they would vote for it Breskvica has a great song, it reminds me of 2000's Balkan songs at Eurovision, but knowing now the context and lyrics and how right-wingers there are getting wet over this song, I have an icky feeling Plus would Western jury vote for this? Especially if controversy gets loud enough where at best, countries would boycott it or at worst, EBU would suspend it like Israel Breskvica is smart enough to never confirm or say this song has anything to do with Kosovo and said other people interpreted it that was, so EBU has no evidence to suspend it

Fevesy Posted March 2 Posted March 2 When he severely damages his vocal cords doing this and then can't do it at Eurovision then what?
Pendulum Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Breskavica sounds like traditional Bulgarian folklore singing what in the cultural appropriation is that?
