Mellark Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Just listened to the final Melodifestivalen snippets of the season. I think Maria Sur, Jacquline, and Dotter are the top 3 for me. Odds are predicting a Marcus & Martinus win, but this is a weak year for Melodifestivalen, despite it being a host year. The ESC blogs are like "Sweden has good potential to win this year", I don't expect them to win this year but this is a choice. Marcus and Martinus just basically recycled AIR.
Komet Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Current scoreboard of r/eurovision users, before we get like 5 new entries in the next few days 1

I went to watch her Top 21 best performances she staged at Eurovision and after watching it, I have Switcherland's Dirty Dancing from 2019 and Bulgaria's Bones from 2018 on REPEAT. What BANGERS, wheww, especially Bulgaria because I remember being GAGGED when audio version first came out, they were ready to win... but she clearly did one of those two songs right when it came to live staging Not true
Green Tea Is Green Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Now that we've heard all melfest songs, at least partially, they really didn't fall off they just got stuck in the era where they were good with no evolution whatsoever, kind of sad to see! Based on the M&M description they still bother to give amazing staging to the one act they want to win it all but yeah... I'm hoping they enter a flop era soon as a wake up call Like I'll take shite such as ''If I were sorry'' winning as long as we get a top national final again

Fevesy Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Streets saying that Europapa is in Dutch and German (although I'd say it's more likely Frisian) and it sounds like a Scooter song Well...

POPTART Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Switzerland has like 5 songs in 1 Not sure how I feel about it yet
Komet Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Switzerland maybe they should've continued with the ballads if this hodge-podge is the alternative
BOOM! Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Tonight is the night! I hope that Balkan girlies are ready for the Zejnaquake!! 1
Fevesy Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Switzerland has tons of staging potential but I am just out of breath just thinking about it. If he can do all that live then that would genuinely impressive
illia Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Switzerland song is very unique and quirky - reminds me a bit of the Edgar song from Austria last year + Hungary 2014
VeniceBeach Posted February 29 Posted February 29 (edited) Switzerland's song is giving Everything Everywhere All At Once in a kinda good way Edited February 29 by VeniceBeach
