On the initial admission I believe but not on the extended stay. His exact illness has not been disclosed nor his progress (bad or good) but his daughter (and co-star) has been in Atlanta at his hospital the whole time. Radar Online says his condition has worsened but their sourcing is generally hit or miss. GMA through a People source said early yesterday he was improving so who knows. I've updated the OP.
