If you’re on Apple Music, change the sorting information. Even if it looks correct, it’s wrong. That’s what always caused my tagging headaches. Just re-enter it.

I’m not in front of my computer rn, but you should select all of the songs in list view, then edit the info for them all. 
 

try checking the box next to “part of a compilation, and hit ok to save the changes. After it saves, make sure they’re all still selected, edit the info and uncheck that box, then save again.
 

that generally works for me when albums won’t merge all under one project in AM, even when all the metadata is correct. Also check that the “sort by” info is all correct.
