ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted May 10, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted May 10, 2023 I really hope this is good as I love Tom, Amanda, and Emmy Trailer didn't do much for me, but I will be seated next month
Uncatena Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Apple TV+ series trailers are always a bit weird but they are the best streaming service around right now, quality wise. I will be tuning in.

James_Dean Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 I can see why this got bad reviews The characters are not interesting nor likable, the script is corny, the story is slow and doesn't really give you a reason to tune in... Tom is honestly the best thing here. Someone needs to help him choose better projects
Dancehall Queen Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 The only people talking about this are the fans that have been spamming reviews calling it the best show they’ve ever watched since week one
Leptine Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Any Tea on this show? It's panned with critics but I keep reading random comments that this is actually good..

ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted July 31, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 31, 2023 Ended up watching this because my sister adores Tom (I like him too but not enough to watch this on my own.) The sad thing is just about everyone in the show is talented, and they're giving compelling performances, it's dripping with potential. However, the biggest problem comes from poor pacing and structure which unfortunately makes it very difficult to buy into the story. The first half of the miniseries is borderline unnecessary It becomes infinitely more interesting once certain revelations take place (revelations, I should add, that didn't need to take so long.) It felt like the show was purposefully taking the most convoluted way to get to an understanding most audiences already had going into the show. Anyway, there are multiple redeeming qualities and some truly touching moments but someone needed to cut this down significantly and approach the overarching story from a different perspective.

Leptine Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 I watched the pilot and honestly I wasn't sold to continue, giving the general comments I read seems like the main issue of this show it's that it doesn't have a valid script.
