All we need is her vote at this point. The Republicans are probably pissed. :dies:

She is weeks away from turning 90. Literally clinging for dear life and she refuses to step down. I could understand if a GOP governor would be the one picking her replacement, but she represents the bluest state in the country not Georgia or Nevada

This ghoul. She needs to retire

Clearly we’re not guaranteed even that, since she’s IN Washington and couldn’t be bothered to show up to vote.

My jaw dropped when I saw the pictures of her today. I would be shocked if this woman even knew her own name anymore. How can she resign when she isn’t even cognizant of who she is?

You would be correct:

Remember when centrists demanded Fetterman, despite winning his primary by like 30 points, step down and give up his seat in Congress because he asked for just 3 week to recover from a stroke? :ahh:

@Bears01 No words. I've got nothing.

Yes. Which is insanely stupid on dem establishment shills part. Fetterman represents one of the most purple seats in the country, he resigns, there’s a new election and soon. He has that seat locked down till January 2029 and with the upcoming maps for democrats, they should cherish that seat for dear life (you would think)

We need to invoke an age limit on government positions, truly.

I think the ceiling to run/win an election should be 80, once you’re over 80, not allowed to run again.

This is so f****d up. :doc: I've never liked Feinstein but this just feels so exploitative of the folks in DC to not let her go rest for the remainder of her life.

How she’s not been forced out, I will never understand

Give her a McDonald's Sprite. That'll knock her ass right out and we'll be free from this mess.

I remember how angry some Dems got at Katie Porter for announcing her Senate bid because it was "disrespectful" to this old hag. :ahh:

“yaas queen, you spent months stalling the only serious thing we can accomplish because you’re borderline dead and still won’t resign, but this is an INSTITUTION”! The senate is such a joke @ClashAndBurn

I agree and have been saying this almost my entire life tbh. But i think 80 is still far to old. The age limit to run for office should be 65 imo. And for the love of god, we need term limits as well. You should only be allowed to serve 2 terms in the senate and 4 terms in the house, maybe 6 terms if we wanna be generous. We were never meant to have life long politicians. It needs to end.
