vale9001 Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 (edited) They made an article with a possible range of earnings between 275M and 2.7B This just screams all we are writing is totally casual Edited May 8, 2023 by vale9001

Taylena Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 If an alien spaceship shows up at one of Beyoncé's dates and drops 10 billion in cash over the crowd then her tour could gross $10 billion+. This Forbes article is just as dumb as my imaginary scenario.

Kristie Kuwa Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 unnecessary thread in my opinion. shes going to do 300+ which would be incredible regardless and a career high

Badgalbriel Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Demi Lovato's Tour could gross between 0 and 100 million dollars.
ariananext Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Imagine a battle of dates, tour every single italian region queens!
The Second Coming Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 No doubt she will do very well, but this reads just as the usual paid Forbes PR tabloid propaganda. They are just another marketing tool for celebs, zero credibility.
6_INCH_HEELS Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 What kind of range is this? I wish Forbes would just...go bankrupt. The irony. The peace!
Rep2000 Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 An Enya tour could gross between 0 to 4 biilions dollars, outgross both Taylor and Beyonce combined.
Pheromosa Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 No one believes this but the mental gymnastics pulled here to put this on bey’s PR team are hilarious It’s been known that Forbes is full of ****
idkwiam Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 It won't even gross 1B let alone 2.5B. Taylor won't gross 1.6B either. Why are they posting misleading numbers for both of them?
TheLastChord Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Where are these over 1b figures coming from? Like I could fully see Taylor or Bey grossing over 1b for a single tour, but they would need MORE dates. As it stands, neither of these tours are going over 1b, let alone 2b
vale9001 Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 (edited) In europe tickets prices have not an average of 700 dollars, 650 euros. Just forget about that. Her last tour average tickets was 90 euros in Germany and Sweden. This tour won't have in europe a ticket average than most than 150 euros. I would say something around 130. Prices in uk are from 56 to 199 pounds for seated 106 pounds for standings. 177 for Gold circle and 221 for the entry package. These are 80% of all tickets. I don't undestand why this set up against her Edited May 8, 2023 by vale9001
Mr. Stratus Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 (edited) A lot of the Rena tour is empty/unsold I saw. This is now the issue with Bey. Her PR is just silly. Like ‘Rena could sell 3m’ before that Edited May 8, 2023 by Mr. Stratus

wastedpotential Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Yes Beyonce had dynamic pricing where Taylor did not, but Taylor has several more sections of each stadium open for sale (which is how she's averaging north of 65k per night when most stadium shows max out at 55k). Beyonce's PR team remains top notch, I'll hand that to them, but these numbers are ludicrous. Taylor and Beyonce have played stadiums back to back before in the same summer, and Taylor's numbers were significantly, significantly better. With 5 more shows, the Reputation Stadium Tour made almost $100 Million more than the On The Run II tour did, and I see no reason for that to be significantly different this time. Beyonce is starting her tour in Europe, where the grosses will be smaller because Europeans won't pay as much as Americans generally, plus the EUR-USD exchange rate isn't super favourable for conversions at the moment, at least compared to where things were in 2018. Yes, Taylor will be playing EU dates at some point, but over 1/3 of Beyonce's 57 dates are there, whereas all of Taylor's 52 dates are in top-grossing, USD-denominated cities. There's no way that Beyonce will be able to catch up to Taylor with 16 fewer US dates where less sections of the stadium are for sale. She'll probably have a higher average ticket price (but not all that much), but with fewer tickets per date, the total gross will average out each night, and Taylor has 16 more in the US, plus whatever happens internationally. Here is the data from every stadium both played in 2018, for a sense of comparison. I took the average of each multi-night date, for a more fair comparison. On the left of the / is Taylor and on the right is Beyonce. The numbers in bold are the ones where Beyonce outgrossed/outattended Taylor, which only happened in 3 of the 19 cities. In most, Taylor had at least 5k-20k more people in the audience every night and made well over $1M more per night.
