I wasn't rooting for Christian at all, but she DESTROYED those other hoes in that lipsynch. The only one who came close was Regina.

 

Matraka was shockingly bad, so I was glad Christian took the crown.

For season 2, they need to fire Oscar, Valentina, and Lolita, hire new producers, new writers, and new editors, come up with at least 1 good challenge, and cast people who know how to dance.

 

They can keep the Pit Crew though.

Still, I don't love how he's so heteronormative, talking constantly about his wife and daughter. Like if you're living on straight time with your nuclear family, who cares if you identify as queer? I personally prefer when drag comes from the margins, when it has something radical to say about gender, when it rallies against (not embraces) sexual norms, etc. So seeing it used as a means to pay the bills for a man, his wife, and his child is just not my thing.

I'm two episodes in and I'm kind of gagged at them keeping in all the confessionals dragging the lip syncs, the shots of the judges looking at the queens lip syncing in disgust, Valentina begging them to do more, etc.  
 

Week 1 could have been a lip sync for the win.. the pity double shantay was wild
