Sergi91 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Another teacher getting assaulted And there’s people still wondering why there’s a teacher shortage
fathillaryduff Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Oh my GOD! That poor teacher. Also... why is that girl dressed like that? She is a kid dressing like a grown woman? I mean if she pepper sprays her teacher I'm sure she doesn't care about dress code but still... this current generation needs to get their ass WHOOPED because I don't know how else you're supposed to control these out of control monkeys. I fear for what this next generation will become once they take over the workforce and have their own kids.
charot Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 (edited) Need a clear view of the teacher's face, he's kinda hot. Edited May 7, 2023 by charot
Theshigo Washidu Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 The assault wasn't deserved and she should be arrested for it, but I don't think trying to confiscate her phone is the right way to go about things either. If she's being obstructive, remove her from the class. If she refuses, get her parents or the headmaster involved.
fridayteenage Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 this is what happens when people are trained to disrespect teachers
cockatoo Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Erm? I hope she was suspended for that... Mind you that's quite literally assault, all because he confiscated her phone...

She’s just a Black teen with curves, stop adultify-ing Black girls bodies. A lot of schools in the US don’t have uniforms, especially public schools. As long as her dress is at least at her finder tips, which it looks like it is, she’s fine. ———————— the child is outta pocket for not only whatever she did to get her phone taken away, but also having pepper spray and using it on the teacher. Over a phone? If he was trying to sexually assault her then yeah, but your phone? These children are too glued and attached to their phones. You’re in school and should be paying attention to your academics, not your phone. If there’s an emergency, the school will call your parents or your parents will call the school. And I’m sure she didn’t have her phone out for an emergency, probably on tik tok just like the other student who’s using their phone to record this incident for tik tok. Social media is addictive and kids need not be on it.
shinyshimmery Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Have school policies changed over the years? bc I remember phones not being allowed at all when I was a student... mind you this was a while ago. I guess it makes sense to carry a phone nowadays with all the crazy stuff happening in public schools. But anyhow, that was wrong of her to do that over a phone. He's the teacher, a figure of authority, and you're some spoiled brat thinking you did something by pepper spraying him. I hope she and her family gets sued for all their worth.
Laura Palmer Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Naw, thats not right. Hope she’s slapped with an assault charge.
EtherealCat Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 why on earth would you want to be a teacher with all these essentially parentless children to look after

truthteller Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Terrorist in the making. Someone needs to throw that b**** in jail.
Communion Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Why are we posting content from right-wing content farm accounts on TikTok?
DamianSolo Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 I don't think teachers should be allowed to confiscate the personal property of students. I think this is an issue that needs to be truly dissected and discussed, because of instances like this. With the world we live in, never knowing what could happen, I think students should be able to have a phone on their person. Now, if she was causing a distraction during class due to her being on the phone, I think she should be removed from the class; that's something where the teacher should have to contact the office for assistance in doing so if the student then refuses to leave. We can't have students disrupting class, but we also can't have teachers acting like or being treated like this. A teacher should never tussle with a student, unless the safety of another student is being threatened. There needs to be procedures put in place to handle such situations, to keep teachers safe and to properly address disciplinary issues.

I’ve seen the rules be bent for different body types. This girl had like Ds or DDs at like 14 and when she got in trouble for wearing a low cut dress she rightfully clocked the admin and said “why is it okay for everyone else to wear a shirt like this but not me?”. If this Black girl was flat as a board, there wouldn’t be a convo on her breaking dress code.

My school told us that they would confiscate our phones when they saw it and would either give it back at the end of class or at the end of the day. And if the student was really turned up, they would get it back after their parent came to school to get it. I don’t recall any parent having an issue with the rule. The problem is some of the parents are telling the kids that the teacher can’t take their phone and even go to the school to berate the teacher (with the child present) to tell them they don’t pay the phone bill so they can’t take the phone. Disciplining students was much easier when the parents and teachers are on the same side, which is doing what’s academically best for the student, but nowadays parents don’t want no one (not even people in positions of authority) to discipline their kids but then those parents ironically don’t even discipline their kids themselves. NO kid that fears consequences from their parents acts like this. we’re living in a country of the entitlement of “you can’t tell me what to do” and “freedom of speech” and “you can’t tell me my opinion is wrong”. People got “opinions” based off of misinformation but wanna curse someone out for trying to educated them in the name of “I’m entitled to my opinion”.

And that brings it back full circle to my first post. I don't believe in confiscating phones; so much of our lives are on our devices. And, when it comes to kids, I feel like parents/guardians should be able to have a direct line to their child; you never know what could happen at any given time. To avoid teachers being berated or having to endure any further disrespect, schools should make it to where phones aren't confiscated or at least provide teachers with the proper guidance on how to address such an issue. Discipline just needs to happen in a way that's much more controlled. We can't have teachers just walking up to students grabbing for stuff, with what happened in the original post being a potential outcome—if not worse. There's also a liability if something were to happen to the device in the teacher's possession.
popmusicisdead Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 that was assault. kids get away with so much slick sh*t these days. if i did that in highschool, the nuns would've beaten the homosexuality out of me

They’ll know how to take care of misbehave students
