I knew Equals era would foreshadowing this era's underperformance :deadbanana4:

Bad Habits & Shivers were literally HITS with 1B+ streams so him not even had one album track to chart for this album is crazy

This is without a doubt one of the biggest commercial underperformances I have EVER seen considering how huge his catalogue is on streaming :rip: Like even with the singles flopping, this is way worse than I expected. A whole new level of bombing.

dear god...he should pack it up and start a family I guess then

I trust his team to playlist and radio payola some of these songs to no end until they become hits

ATRL prayed this moment would come...

It's time to rejoice in it.

The question is what numbers did his album debut with?

But yeah if it was a female of his status, threads would be going CRAZY

No one maintains peak success level forever, some people are just better at fizzing out slower or have resurgence lol

He's so cocky and chart obsessed that this is lowkey satisfying

Poor Ed :chick3:

hopefully Atlantic is focusing on Janelle and Uzi for the rest of the year :bird:

So what are the first day numbers?

This is crazy :deadbanana4:

didn't even know he released an album :deadbanana4:

Apparently, he's aiming for 24-34m+ streams in America and a top ten debut.

Are we sure this isn't just him having an evermore era? I don't keep up with him so maybe this is just his indie underpromoted era?

Ok while I was typing I just realized he's #1 on TTH :deadbanana4: only Taylor can do a folklore I fear!

This is terrible, one of the biggest bombs for an artists of his caliber in the past years :dies:

Is the 24-34m streams for one day or for the entire week? :rip:

I’m shocked at how badly he’s flopping :deadbanana2:

I'm guessing first day as it says its based on early data  and the total units will be higher.

The level of vitriol he gets isn’t justified, but his overexposure hasn’t been accompanied by any cultural or industry impact like Madonna or Taylor re: the streaming reimbursement conversation or on contracts to justify it, other than winning the Marvin estate trial and massive tours so I’m relieved his domination’s finally coming to an end.

He has his residuals to live off of for the rest of his life so good for him. The material’s better this time around imho (with some exceptions), but let’s not pretend he doesn’t care about charts as indicated in multiple threads on this site for years :rip:

This was a while ago no? His very close friend died this year and he's been going through some things. Hearing him speak about the new album on UK TV recently I think he's grown past that

It will. His album is estimated to do 80k units first week or even less 💀
