Vermillion Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 ProPublica's really on fire lately. Maybe on a freelance hiring spree? Regardless, I'm getting deja vu to Andrew Cuomo, although his impact was 10X worse and perhaps single-handedly cost Dems the House in '22. No surprise. The center-left and neolibs whine of progressives suspicion and continued intransigence and wonder why, then they pull this ish. I'd care more I guess if this man wasn't 82. Too many other fires to put out at the moment.

Humility and shame were never factors in this equation.

I understand RBGs stance (it was stupid as stupid can be, but I understood it. Dosent mean I support it). Homegirl thought Hillary would be the next president and she viewed herself as some feminist icon so she wanted “the first woman president, and the wife of the man who appointed me, to pick my replacement”. Basically everyone else though…………..like go enjoy the final days of your life and be gone

Only gets worse as they age. Applies to everyone, from the most progressive to the most conservative. Same story.

Same reason he flexed his power to change the primary calendar to prioritize a Biden-loving state as being the first instead of the traditional leader where he was losing so badly he dropped out in 2008 and got clobbered by Klobuchar and Warren to land in fifth place in 2020. Calling it now. There won’t be another actual primary process for the DNC if Kamala wrests the presidency through his death or retirement. They’ve already said they view incumbency as a free ticket to the nomination, and she’ll go untested against the Republican nominee. If she somehow lucks out and wins against a nut job like Kari Lake or Marjorie Taylor Greene (and god forbid that happens, because there’s REALLY no guarantee that she’d even win that), there won’t be a DNC primary cycle or even a single debate in 2032 either.
RunUpDoneUp Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 For conservatives as bad as the ones in america to survive, democratic leadership has to be complicit, it's the only way that people who provide zero policies to win anything by manipulating the system.
