I mean I find sports extremely boring but I guess a lot of people find it interesting

Do you also have any recommendations for looking into players? Like I know there are some channels out there that have decent-length videos talking about artists and their significance in history, does something similar exist for players?

I’m sure there are, but that might be too optimistic to get into. I would start by just watching the games.
 

Athletes and sports in general has extremely messy moments too, more often than you think. You’re probably wondering why Dillon Brooks is trending right now. He is a NBA player that called LeBron James, arguably the greatest player in the league, old and created so much drama and mess. 

 

Dillon is super arrogant. The team that Dillon plays for told him this morning that he isn’t coming back to play. They tore his contract into shreds   I know LeBron is screaming and kikiing

Just like people will go to concerts, watch movies, go to a play, etc.

 

Some people can ask too what's the appeal of following charts and seeing people we don't even know making numbers in here

The appeal is for straight men who can't compare nor can they compete seeking an outlet to pretend otherwise. Men who can't do, watch.

 

The appeal for the players is because it's fun and usually, they have no other talents or goals, we peg hole certain people into becoming our entertainment too.

Sport stans and music stans act the same way, so I don't know why they both act as if they are better than each other.

Sports is a relaxation and bonding tool.

 

I follow MLB, NHL, NFL, MLS, and European Soccer (esp. the PL).

The only sport I can watch and be captivated by is tennis. I like attending sporting events, just for the community aspect and they can be quite fun. Football is huge where I live, so virtually every game is an event. It's largely the social aspect.
