Lady Gaga hits 80M CSPC, surprised?

It is absolutely not a surprise considering her catalogue is growing at a fast pace.

She gets 10M+ daily streams a day on Spotify which allows to generate tons of units sold. In comparaison, some artists like Britney get half of that (5M daily streams a day), therefore their catalogues are freezed.

Although Chartmasters is still not a legitimate source, when we have IFPI, RIAA, worldwide certifications.

I was just pointing out how great her streams are by making a comparison.

Britney's streams aren't good in any context, even comparing her to her "peers". Cf. Sia and even Sherya Ghoshal, unknown Indian singer, are pulling more streams.

I think I'm not the one who needs help but her my sweet adored little baby :redface::redface:

The way you spent forever trying to claim Gaga was bigger than Britney and now you’re celebrating her barely passing 80M CSPC units which Britney did years ago. :ahh:  You can’t make this up.

Britney - 113,564,000

Lady Gaga - 80,023,000

I don't care what a fanmade blog says, that CSPC methodology whatsoever isn't even recognized by the industry, honey. I was celebrating my fav's great recurrent streams which allow her to produce tons of untis sold even in 2023 when her last era was released in 2020.

My fav has outsold your fav based on official sales, honey.

Shouldn't worry about your fav getting SURPASSED by an UNKNOWN 00s indian singer?

Amazing numbers especially when you consider the fact that she is releasing new material so rarely. Her peers put new music yearly/non stop which in the streaming age seems to be the the standard.

Baby, those stats are counting over 2,101 playback songs. I’m not sure how they managed a script to find them, but it’s not really a drag to say the top ghost singer of the world’s biggest country is currently outstreaming other acts.

CSPC is based on official stats set forth by the IFPI, they just inflate the importance of digital sales and streams - something that gives artists who debuted post-2005 a massive bump. Why exactly are you mad that ChartMasters inflated Gaga’s stats and why would you want to use other standards which would drop her by millions of units? :lmao:

Lastly, Lady Gaga will never outsell Britney Spears. Her career album sales are at 36M copies and Britney’s first two albums did 43.5M copies. With Western artists losing global appeal and album consumption moving to Asian acts, Gaga won’t be surpassing Britney in any country’s sales :skull:

Remember in the other thread how you were crying about erasure and racism and now you’re laughing at Shreya Ghoshal being an “unknown Indian singer?” Is there any level of delusion you won’t stoop to? :ahh:

This is the standard because it boosts your old numbers. Look at how Ariana’s/Dua’s/Billie’s numbers all took steep dives after they stopped releasing constantly. Conversely, Taylor got a massive boost because she started releasing an album every 9 months. The key to streaming success is to constantly release and get playlisted.

Or things for old people like Jaxz and HMH which actually hurt her catalogue then they recovered. Also a discography of dance pop/EDM is doing this which is at risk of horrid streams as time goes by.

Her Jazz work will only benefit her even more in the long run legacy wise (even though it has already set her apart from everyone of her peers as a superior musician).

The thing with Gaga is that her career is so multifaceted as she is excelling in multiple areas at the same time and doing it successfully both commercially & critically, which makes it even more outstanding. She will continue to be a chameleon in music and dive in different genres for years to come. Being blessed with so much talent has the benefits of never depending on what’s trendy or being commercially appealing only to young consumers, since she will have the luxury to sell even to older audiences, which is never attracted to the standard pop tart act.

230 posts on ATRL and 200 of them are attacking Britney Spears, even in threads that have nothing to do with her :dies:

It's crazy that even in a thread praising your fave, you feel the need to spit your venom as if you have something to prove to others :bird:

Yea I mean I love her jazz but I was pointing out that it clashes with the Spotify younger skewed user base. Acclaim and stability>>>

The fact she is so talented and multifaceted means she has many different areas and doesn’t have to rely solely on catalogue streams, and even then she could end up getting another smash because she kept her star power which will once again shoot her back  in most streamed top 5 like 2018-2020

Top 15 females is nothing to scoff at :clap3: I think she'll be able to move up a few spots pretty easily among females too, cracking the top 10 will be tough though
