loveisdead9582 Posted April 29, 2023 Share Posted April 29, 2023 I know that accusing someone without proof can absolutely lead to defamation lawsuits and since it was so long ago, he probably wouldn’t be able to prove it (which means hearsay and without proof he’d lose). That said, I genuinely wish that directors and casting agents, etc, who have done this **** would be exposed. Being in a position of power and essentially “forcing” or coercing someone to do sexual acts under duress for a promise of a role is terrible. we’ve also seen how Hollywood likes to cover up/not believe male victims (see the Corey’s, etc) and it’s absolutely ridiculous. Bryan Singer directed most of the x-men films (before Disney absorbed Fox’s Marvel properties) he also would court young hot guys as his sex slaves in exchange for major roles.
