I'm sure a big factor is that many of them are of Mexican ancestry :skull:

Mexican food is good but there's better Latin cuisine out there

I'm part Mexican, but prefer Italian.

Im Italian and most food in North America is not legit Italian.

That's technically a Mexican dish as it was invented in Mexico 😉

You must not live somewhere that has authentic Mexican food or a big Mexican population cause that's just not true, it can be found.

Mediterranean food is literally disgusting I mean they eat a lot of stuff that is literally only edible with a question mark at your own risk.

Mexican food otoh is literally a fiesta in your boca.

How dare you define Mediterranean cuisine only in Italian? The Greek salad, baklava, dolmas, falafel, cuscus, shakshuka, paella alone >>>>>>>>>>>>>> anything else in Mexican cuisine

Brazilian food is way ahead of both :lakitu:

So criminally underrated, easily the most diverse cuisine from Latin America. It has the best african-influenced food out of the black diaspora too.

OT: As they should!

As a millennial I do, actually, prefer Italian food. That said, I do still love Mexican food a lot! Which one I go for just depends on what I have a taste for, naturally.

That's just you being uncultured and ignorant, thankfully the majority does not share your opinion. "Eating things that are edible with a question mark".  It's one thing to dislike a particular cuisine for whatever reason and another to claim nonsense as your justification. So ridiculous :dies:

Would like to see Thai and Vietnamese food continue to gain popularity in the U.S. as well.

OT: too bad Americans don’t get actual Mexican food, which is more than tacos and burritos. You probably will never get to taste some of the countless dishes moms cook on a regular basis at Mexican homes :weeps:

You guys are ******* ridiculous thinking you can’t find authentic Mexican food in the US :ahh:

The question is why would we want that!

This is about Americans. Why do you care?

Japanese, Chinese, American etc. food in Italy isn’t “real” either. Do you mention that any time one of your friends say they want to eat sushi?

The obsession :rip:
