Walk_Away21 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 It's def smart. It reminds me of the successful remake trends in video games (which make more sense in that space due to the technological advances). But it's working well.

Clearly the Swifties don’t value fidelity in their audio. This is nonsense. The re-recordings are much higher fidelity recordings than the originals. What CAN be argued is that there is often raw emotion in the originals that is absent in the re-recordings. Edited April 27, 2023 by RobynYoBank

Clearly the Swifties don’t value fidelity in their audio. Very few of the re-records are inferior. Her vocals are almost universally better save for a few songs and the instrumentation is far more polished. This Love (TV) is an amazing example of a massive improvement.

I don’t think they’re hurting anything either though. It’s not meant to be an attack on her or anything They turned casual listeners into fans
Taylor fanboy Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I wish her the best of luck on 1989 and reputation TVs.
spiritboy Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 That's why i admire Swifties. They are so loyal and dedicated to Taylor. This also helps a lot for her legacy cause as far as i know it's unprecedented, right? I hope Scooter is seething in his hole.

So technically anyone 15 was born by the time of its release but overall, the re-recordings being a success further solidifies her power and legend status
