Yes, practical effects inspired by the sci-fi b movies of the 1950s. They did it all by hand with puppeteers and stop-motion.

I had a good time. It definitely has some issues with the script, like there are 1400 storylines happening at once but overall, it was a great time. Happy to be back in the Beetlejuice world.

This was so much fun. Visually,  it was amazing and had so much classic Burton touches. The musical moments with MacArthur Park & Right Here Waiting were great touches. Hoping there's a third movie. Jenna Ortega & Willem Dafoe were great additions.

this managed to disappoint me despite all i wanting from it was to be a fun, silly, colorful sequel … idk felt like it could have used more of the whimsy from the original film, it felt too sanitized :/

Came in with big expectations especially when the first movie is a CLASSIC.
