I feel like it was just yesterday watching Striking Vipers. 4 years really went by like that.

The first four seasons are so fantastic. But I need to keep my hype in check after Bandersnatch and the lacklustre fifth season, both of which were weak. I hope they went all out on this and didn’t just phone it in

Hopefully a return to the quality of the first 3 seasons and not the shite in seasons 4 & 5, especially that awful Miley episode.

YES YES YES!  I was just talking about this the other day!  The world is RIPE for Black Mirror stories

 

And yes, I echo others who hope this is a return to form.  S1-4 were phenomenal.  S5 and Bandersnatch were just okay.

I LOVE Black Mirror, even S5 was good for me (the miley episode was pretty meh tho)

Overall my expectations are high. Black Museum, Hang The DJ and Nosedive are my holy trinity

The Miley ep was atrocious and such a departure from quality as evidenced by it being the lowest rated ep on IMDB. At least for our troubles we got Ashley O's iconic On A Roll.

 

But yeah, I'm cautious about a new season. I can see them tackling working from home and AI if they want to be topical.

season 5 of black mirror and season 2 of love death robots were very disappointing for me
